MNO Daily News

24/12/09. Daily News From The Industry

Posted: 24 Dec 2009 06:34 PM PST

Hi, guys! It’s Christmas Eve now and I have just finished preparing. For the next two days will be not only quiet here in London, as many people will celebrate Christmas together with their families but also on MNO as I’m taking a day off tomorrow and will not bother you, or myself, with the news or reviews. Please spend this day with your family (as my Christmas poll shows that’s what the majority of MNO readers are going to do anyway) and enjoy your well-deserved day of rest. I will try to reply all overdue emails today before actually set to rest for another day so please expect some reply to yours within the next few hours.

It seems not only me is preparing for Christmas. Many programs admins also sent their best wishes to members or put festive greetings on their websites. For instance the usually very talkative admin of PTVPartner Garrett (interviewed here) issued a typically long festive newsletter today. The newsletter mentioned the holiday payout schedule which would not be affected at all as all the payouts would be processed within the usual 24 hour timeframe every day. This differentiates PTVPartner from other programs as investors still like to be paid fast regardless of the season. I guess such a decision will bring even more investors to the program who can chose from any of the four investment plans paid on expiry (110% after 10 days, 125% after 20 days, 145% after 30 days, 190% after 40 days) via LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, GlobalDigitalPay or StrictPay. PTVPartner is definitely one of the best choices for short- to medium-term investments right now and the program rightly occupies the #6 place on my monitoring page. You can read more about PTVPartner and its unique features in my review of the program published here and I’m working on the updated review on PTVPartner which will be published on my blog just after Christmas. After that I’m planning to interview Garrett again and find out about the new features and a little bit more about his plans for the future.

But let’s get back to the newsletter. The Christmas Party proved to be a success and Garrett issued an invitation to a New Year’s Party which you can spend with your fellow investors. If you’re still considering it then I would remind you that over $500 will be given away during the Party. So it’s really tempting especially knowing that you don’t need to be a member of PTVPartner in order to attend. Please read more information about the upcoming Party and other news about the new site template in the newsletter below:
"What a wonderful time of the year!
We would like to Wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
With all that is happening this time of year sometimes we forget the little things like, the time we get to spend together, a warm hug from a loved one we don't get to see often enough, a loving smile of appreciation and the affection we feel for each other. I am overwhelmed this holiday with all these things, and so many more that I am unable to express. I truly wish you a life as full as mine. For this Christmas is an especially joyous one for me. We wish many blessings to each and every one of you this holiday season.
Holiday Schedule
PTVPartner will not miss a beat this holiday season. Our program continues to pay out while all others seem to be in need of a few days off. You can expect a payout every day. Christmas eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve and New Years Day, payments will be a few hours later than usual, but still within the 24 hours following the close of business Zurich Time.
Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party was a Huge success. We had a Record-Breaking number in attendance. Never before have we had over one hundred members in a chat room at the same time. There was fantastic Music, singing and dancing, prizes and contests that lasted for over 8 hours! Thanks to all those that attended. Congratulations to all the winners.
New Years Party
We have had so many requests for a New Year's Party, we are more than willing to oblige. There are so many members who could not attend the Christmas Party, as well as those who want to attend another. We will be giving out over $500.00 is cash prizes during this party too. So if you are one of us who prefers to stay home on New Year's night, or you are one of us who would like to spend New Years night with the friends you have made online, then this is where it is all happening! What better way do you know to spend New Years with the people you enjoy…. other than right here at PTVPartner. Members and Non-Members are welcome to participate and ALL are eligible to win prizes. We would love to have you participate with us, and you are under NO obligation to become a member of PTVPartner.
Party on December 31st – Hours will be from 4PM GMT (10AM CST) to 8PM GMT (2PM CST) we will then reserve 2 hours for a Meeting in the Community Chat Room. The Party will then resume at 10PM GMT (4PM CST) and continue until we can't stand it anymore!
So what do you say? Party at our House?
New Website
Our new website is operational for most. Some have had a problem or two and we are working it out. In the meantime we have made the old site available to those that have had issues. Simply select the template of choice from the drop down menu at the top of the page and you will be able to access your preference.

It seems not only PTVPartner will continue to make payments as usual during the holidays. The admin of XagaEnterprise Kevin (interviewed here) just confirmed that XagaEnterprise would be working as usual even in this festive season. The earnings will be credited as usual on all the plans XagaEnterprise is offering: 0.5% for 30 business days and 0.7% for 90 business days (with the principal returned on expiry), 8%-10% weekly forever and 1.2% daily forever. I consider XagaEnterprise as one of the most promising for 2010 and will be publishing a new, updated review of it on my blog also after Christmas. There were after all new plans added since my last review of the program was published on MNO (read it here). So where will Kevin spend his Christmas holidays? Read the latest newsletter from XagaEnterprise below to find out:
"I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2010. May the joy and happiness surrounding you on this holiday.
There will be NO HOLIDAY for XagaEnterprise. Earnings will be credited as usual. And you can request for withdrawals anytime as usual.
XagaEnterprise Team is going to stay on Ballys Atlantic City tonight for 3 consecutive days. Don’t worry about payments, I will bring my superb laptop.
Don’t forget to Buy gifts for your lovely ones. Celebrate Christmas with your own way meanwhile I will celebrate it with Casino style. Free Rooms, Free Food, Free Entertainments, Free Comps, etc. Nice right?
That’s it for today guys and Go XAGA!
Thank you so much.
Regards, Kevin and Team
".

Verifield (reviewed here) is just another excellent program that has been paying for many months already and which I’m also considering a re-review of after Christmas. Since my first review in March 2009 Verifield has changed a lot for the better but it remains a very promising website with many unique features and offers. And of course don’t forget the vast array plans with payouts on expiry. Another interesting feature is instant payouts to both LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney but there are many others which I will be discussing in my upcoming revised review which you will be able to read on my blog after Christmas. Despite the holidays the administration of Verifield is pretty sure that they could generate some money for investors due to events on the market which was mentioned in the newsletter. They also promised to publish some trading reports on Monday for all the investors. Here is the latest Christmas news from them:
"Christmas time is here
Verifield would like to say Merry Christmas to all our Customers. This holiday is not just about Christmas trees and presents. It’s about care, it’s about love and family. Verifield care and love their growing family and would like to thank you for doing your business with us. Christmas time and New Year eve are specifically significant on the stock markets due to such known phenomenons as ‘Santa Claus Rally’ and ‘January effect’. There are specific trends during this time and Verifield plan do generate some good income during the holidays. We are constantly doing some positive trading here and will be posting detailed trading reports on upcoming Monday.
"

The administration of SazaInvestments (interviewed here) informed everybody that all the 8%-10% weekly payments have now been completed. I remind you that due to Christmas this week the payout button has remained open for the duration of Thursday instead of the usual Friday. Please note that next week due to the New Year celebrations the cashout button might be enabled on a different day. So please watch out for more updates from SazaInvestments (reviewed here) next week or for updates on MNO. If you want to find out more about SazaInvestments please refer to my review published here. Below are two emails I received from them today:
"We wish you all a Merry Christmas and to enjoy it the best. Thank you all for your trust in us. Regards, SazaInvestments Team.
All payments has been done again. For next week we will let you know in time when we will open the withdrawals again because it will be New Year. Merry Christmas again to everybody and thank you all for your trust in us. Regards, SazaInvestments Team
".

AtlantisMutual (reviewed here) announced some Christmas Giveaway contest where you can show off your creative side, earn some good money for yourself, and increase awareness of the program among investors as the best efforts will be used in their future promo campaigns. If you’re not familiar with AtlantisMutual yet it’s a program that pays on expiry for five different investment plans: 105% after 7 days, 120% after 21 days, 191% after 60 days, 293% after 90 days and 391% after 120 days. The program has been online for several months already and always pays instantly to both LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney accounts. I’m sure you will not be disappointed if you try it out as I’ve had only positive experiences with them. More info on AtlantisMutual can be read in my interview with the admin published here. And below are the rules of the Giveaway contest:
"Christmas Giveaway
AtlantisMutual are glad to announce the Christmas Giveaway contest. Make up a success story about your investment experience with AtlantisMutual Investment Alliance, attach your own photo and win $200 (1st place), $100 (2nd place) or $50 (3rd place); OR make a Christmas / New Year gift with AtlantisMutual logo or name on it, take a picture and send the photo to us by e-mail to participate in the contest. "

MandarinInvest (reviewed here) is another excellent performer among the low-ROI programs around now. Many of these will be looking at great success in 2010 and could be among the best programs of the year as well. Having been paid for over two months already MandarinInvest slowly but surely built a good reputation by the constant addition of new features. Among those features I can list the translation of the website into dozens of languages as well as the introduction of instant payouts processed to four payment processors: LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, AlertPay and StrictPay. By the way those four payment processors are just half of the eight payment processors accepted in total. The investment plans offered are: 1% for 30 days, 1.3% for 100 days and 1.6%-2.1% for 150 days with the principals returned on expiry. Today the website of MandarinInvest has got a new Christmas look and you can find out more about that from the following update or by actually visiting their site:
"We recently gave our website a refreshing new winter look and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We would also like to wish our members from all over the Globe happy Winter Holidays and a prosperous New Year 2010!
Sincerely, MandarinInvest Team
".

Just like MandarinInvest another program called TheKapital (reviewed here) is also incorporated in Panama which seems to be a great international haven for many online HYIPs. TheKapital has a very unique script and accepts all the major payment processors. During the whole period of monitoring it from early September 2009 TheKapital always paid for both daily and weekly investment plans (1.5%-2.2% daily and 8.2%-9.2% weekly) within 24 hours of requesting it and therefore proved to be an excellent performer with no issues. The updates from the administration of TheKapital are quite rare overall but on Christmas Eve they couldn’t miss the opportunity to discuss the results of their activities during the last few months as well as sharing some exciting plans for the upcoming 2010. Please also pay attention to the restricted working hours during the Christmas and New Year holidays which was clearly outlined in the latest newsletter published below:
"The greatest part of 2009 was the building of the relationships between our team and the clients at TheKapital. The combination of exceptional investors, our diligent staff, and most importantly your support, we have been able to grow from a start-up online company to an expansion that is now supporting worldwide investors. You have had the opportunity to grow with us and become more than an investor but instead become a part of TheKapital community. You have assisted us in designing new objectives, supported us through change, and held us to a highest expectation which allows us to continually grow.
In 2009, together we achieved great accomplishments. It began with the launch of TheKapital online investment platform followed shortly by growing investors, and growth in investment areas. With our establishment in trading markets including but not limited to Forex and Stocks and Commodities, we have been able to offer our consumers a stable environment that offers promise and balance to portfolios. With a common goal to enhance both our investment and yours, we continue to expand into new areas of business and continue to offer more options for our investors and consumers. Together this community is without a doubt growing, and we can only thank you for joining us in this adventure.
With demands and needs increasing amongst our community, new programs began to emerge. Loyalty-K-Points quickly progressed from an idea to an exceptional addition to our team. It provided an expansion in investment solutions for a wider range of consumers, helping to grow our community of investors, partners, and our staff. With this great process of growth, you expressed needs for more available support and we answered. With the implementation of consumer and investor support service through multiple avenues including phone support and live chat, we have been able to guarantee less than one hour response time in regards to customer assistance.
Now with TheKapital community embarking into 2010, we have many new projects and additions planned to make things easier, faster, and overall looking to offer a more refined operation. Our primary projects include addressing suggestions from you, our investors, and our staff. These planned projects include more convenient payment solutions for our investors, multiple language support to help eliminate the need for third party translators, and expansion of local representatives. These new projects will make our operations run smoother, your investments easier, and a better environment for our customers. To help make sure we are focused on the needs and wants of our community, a poll will be launched to make sure we are addressing suggestions in regards to website enhancement, investment solutions, and possible other needed implementations. Overall, we want you to know we are all working together to make ultimate satisfaction.
With the holiday season upon us, the days, Dec 25th 2009 thru Jan 3rd 2010, we will be running at limited capacity as our trading platform will close for the yearly financial reports of the company. In regards to our interest systems, CD-KFUND, BD-KFUND and GD-KFUND funds will resume on Jan 4th, 2010 and CW-KFUND, BW-KFUND and GW-KFUND funds, resume on Jan 1st 2010. However, all of the investors and partners in regards to your current transactions will be available for your viewing as usual. The phone support will be available with the exception of some required maintenance updates. The live chat support will be operational for occasional technical support queries. We personally recommend using our Contact Form during holidays for urgent issues that require a quick response.
As 2009 comes to a close, we are excited about the endless rewards the New Year will bring to our exceptional community. We hope the Christmas holidays bring you cheerfulness, and 2010 brings happiness and good fortune. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as you have and will continue to be extremely valuable to TheKapital Community.
Sincerely yours, Carlos Russel, Project Manager,
TheKapital International, Inc."

Another program with an excellent payment record for several months is IncoForex (reviewed here) and they also published an update which was really full of festive Christmas cheer. I encourage you to read it to the end to see what the admin (interviewed here) is trying to communicate. Many statements can be disputed of course but I guess in many ways he’s right when discussing the meaning of money in our lives. Anyway, IncoForex is paying variable daily returns of up to 3% for 180 trading days and it never let me down in over 4 months of monitoring it. I’m pretty sure that with the approach outlined in the newsletter IncoForex has a bright future ahead in 2010. See what you think:
"This is the first Christmas that we celebrate together! But we can guarantee you that this is not the last one; it’s just the beginning of a long journey full of happy memories and things to learn.
During this year’s activity, our main goals were to provide a solid and trustful image of our company, to pay each and every one of you on time so that you can have your funds right on time. This mission has been accomplished until now and we want to step forward with you, continuing in the same rhythm of successful cooperation. We know how hard it is to trust an online investment company these days. And we try to attract your belief in our services, as we love to make you feel secure and glad with us!
We are going to improve lots of things, and one of the main objectives are going to be the improvement of our relation investor-provider. Each aspect of our financial activity will be analyzed and upgraded so that you could benefit from a maximum transparency of our company. All our team will be devoted to fulfill your dreams and ideas, at least those related to the financial aspect of your life. Whoever said money can’t Buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping. Our supermarket is open for you to Buy every financial product with unlimited warranty and you can benefit from it as long as you want to! Just that you make sure to carefully select those products!
The upcoming 2010 year will catch us in a perfect set for another decade. You, our customers, are going to be the most important part of our business! With your help, your ideas and positive attitude, we’ll take this program to clouds and back. Our traders and the team of experienced employees will make sure that you will benefit from all that we can offer! Santa Claus will read all your Christmas letters and will include IncoForex in the most important list of your dreams!
Our lifetime may seem short in when comparing to other “sharks” of the online financial investment. But, please, rest assured, this is just the beginning! When others will be “old”, our program will be the youngest of the best! This means that we will have enough time to fix all potential problems that may exist in our problems and we will try to upgrade all the services that may seem old for you! The world that we live in is one of a eternal change and we will take all the measures to be on the same wave with this change. We care for your feelings, hopes and expectations and we try to improve them, on the material field of your life. Money is not all, but without it, you can’t have all the material things that you wished for. Just that our world is not made in that manner. The energy of our human beings can be transformed and influenced by a powerful modern alchemy that will give you the feeling of security and financial peace!
Let’s materialize all our emotional hopes and sensations for a better world into a real, palpable experience with IncoForex! Merry Christmas!
WBR, IncoForex Team
".

The admin of OneDailyPro (reviewed here) sent out a short email in which he greeted the members of his program and wished them Merry Christmas. OneDailyPro will be working as usual during this festive season and the payments on all the plans (1%-1.3% for 30 days and 1.6% for 60 days) will be processed as usual. Here is the email:
"This is broadcast e-mail to all clients of OneDailyPro project. We hope this e-mail finds you well.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Our staff wish you best of luck, peace, joy and happiness.
P. S. We are working as usual during these holidays.
Best regards, OneDailyPro Admin
".

StableInterest (reviewed here) suspended all withdrawals so you can’t actually make a withdrawal at all at this moment. At the same time the deposits are accepted as usual. I find it very strange and a little disturbing and advise you not to make any further deposits into StableInterest until the withdrawal button is back working again and the payouts get processed. Here is the update when I got today when trying to make my withdrawal request:
"Dear member, The withdrawal option is not available. For the period of Christmas holidays since December 24, 2009 to January 04, 2010, our company is working in a “stand-by mode”. All programs launched remain working. The profit is calculated at minimal rates. The withdrawal option will become available on January 04, 2010.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thanks for staying with us.
Best regards, StableInterest.
"
From other recent news published on StableInterest website I found the following one which in my opinion has nothing to do with the program itself:
"StableInterest joins the major firms: GE Energy Financial Services, CMEA Capital, Khosla Ventures and Energy Capital Management to invest a combined $13.2 million in Danotek Motion Technologies.
Danotek makes the so-called permanent magnet generators (PMGs) for wind turbines. The company says they contain no “wear-and-tear parts.” making them more reliable and less costly to maintain.
The specialists from StableInterest agree with Danotek officials, who claim the investment will allow it to expand research and development, install utility-scale megawatt load-testing equipment, hire and train workers and launch production of a projected 4,000 permanent magnet generators (PMG's) annually.
Danotek says PMG technology is also more efficient, capable of operating at slower and variable speeds. As a result wind farms would be able to harvest an average of 15% more energy, providing approximately $1 million in additional revenue over the life of the turbine, Danotek said.
As said by Mark Robinson, the Manager of Clean Energy Investment Department: “This is considered to be an innovative technology that would give a greater upswing to the economic benefit from using the wind energy. We are happy to join this venture that would bring advanced generators to the global market
“.

MoneyPlus (reviewed here) made an important announcement that the principal would not be credited to members’ accounts due to them celebrating Christmas. Although I think everybody has realized by now that MoneyPlus is not a real company after the very controversial interview with the admin that was published here. Please treat MoneyPlus just like an investment game and nothing more. Here is the latest news from them:
"We don’t have interest on December 25, Christmas Day is a federal holiday celebrated on December 25. Christmas is a Christian holiday marking the birth of the Christ Child.
We do not make interest payments on official holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. We always send out email notifications informing all our customers on which official holidays we won’t be making interests.
Regards, MoneyPlus
".
MoneyPlus also mentioned that AlertPay will become a new payment processor accepting deposits on January, 4, 2010. They apparently have some issues with them now but they are going to accept it again for deposits very soon.

Unlike MoneyPlus, another program ZenithInvestment (reviewed here) announced that they were having problems with AlertPay forcing them to stop taking them. I know for sure that at least one member was refunded to AlertPay already and the admin of ZenithInvestment (interviewed here) promised to introduce SolidTrustPay as another payment processor instead soon. So let’s hope for the best. ZenithInvestment also announced some bonuses for new deposits and you can read about that in detail in the latest newsletter published below:
"Compliments of the Season to all Members of Zenithinvestment.
Firstly, We wish to announce to you that all pending payout have been completed today and we will appreciate you casting in vote for us in any of our monitor/forums.
Secondly, We also want to use this opportunity to announce to you that from today, we will not be accepting payments from AlertPay service not until we are able to rectify the problem we are having with them. Those that upgraded with AlertPay should please add other processors to their account or send us a support ticket with your username and the new processor you wish to add and we will adjust it manually into our system from the admin area of ZenithInvestment. Our apology to all our members that upgraded with AlertPay as we are doing everything possible to finalise the issue with AlertPay.
Thirdly, we will be adding a new payment processor to the site, which is SolidTrustPay to replace the AlertPay account so everyone can have more processor option to upgrade / withdraw with.
Christmas Upgrade Bonus
We are giving out free upgrade bonus to our upgraded members as a Christmas gift to show our appreciation to you.
Buy $200-$399 and get free $20 to your account
Buy $400-$599 and get free $30 to your account

We appreciate all your Continuous support and thanks for being a part of ZenithInvestment. Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New-Year that will bring you great success.
Your Admin. ZenithInvestment
".

If other admins try to bring their members only good news on Christmas then the admin of XrateInvest Karin really disappointed me recently forcing me to move her program to Paying selectively status on my monitoring page. Apparently she didn’t fulfill her promise to me to take care of the delayed payouts and only small investors were paid while the investors with thousands of dollars and are still waiting. I find this approach simply intolerable and as you know the one thing I tolerate least is lies. I suggest Karin to pay to everybody as soon as possible and not to turn into yet another Christmas scam. I know that she reads my blog and hopefully the members will pending payouts will be paid soon. However seeing so many complaints about XrateInvest in my mailbox over the last 24 hours I tend to doubt this will happen. At this particular moment I advise you not to put a penny there if you don’t want to lose your it. I will keep you updatied on the situation with the payouts on MNO so stay tuned for the latest news!

For your information I’m currently investigating the registration process in the UK in detail. I hope to have a detailed report of how easy is to register a business in the UK and we will discuss if it’s really any guarantee for your investment. As far as I can see almost every second HYIP is claiming to be registered in the UK these days and put this proudly as some sort of guarantee on your investment. So I hope my article will help put an end to this ugly practice. Let’s put a stop the lies and make this industry better in 2010! I’m planning to publish the detailed results of my investigation in the new year so stay tuned for that!

Apart from SurfVesper and 220Group which both stopped paying and were moved to Problem status on my monitoring page many other programs are still paying even on Christmas Eve. Here is the full list of programs that I received payment from over the last 24 hours:
Investorum, PTVPartner, ArbsFund, GeniusFunds, ZenithInvestment, FinanceNova, RefMotor, TheKapital, Caziroca, OneDailyPro, KobelCapital, StarkFund, MoneyPlus, CedexInvest, Verifield, HugMoney, MandarinInvest, InvestmentForge, AimTrust, IncoForex, Flanita, CSMFinance, AsiaInv, NanoMoneyCorp, WestFinance, SazaInvestments, FaithInvestment, GlobalFund, SantiVentures, Vegamex, RosalinFinance and XagaEnterprise.

I sincerely wish you and all your families a very Merry Christmas and will see you on my blog on December 26! Until then I have turkey to cook!

24/12/2009. Interview with the admin of SantiVentures

Posted: 24 Dec 2009 08:12 AM PST

Hi everybody! For the first update today I’d like to show you this recent interview I received from the admin of SantiVentures. That’s a long term HYI program with a number of investment plans all running for 150 business days offering interest rates of between 1.3%-2.8%. Just one of the plans returns your principal, but for a fuller explanation of how they all work then you can see my original review published here.

"1. Hi Vikor. Please introduce yourself to the readers of MNO and tell us if it’s your first online investment program and if you have any experience in this field.

Hi Paul and all the readers of MNO. My name is Vikor Pepler and I am the administrator, or as businessmen say, the CEO of SantiVentures online investment program. I am from Switzerland where I used to work as an executive assistant in one of the local banks in Bern. In 2002 I went self employed to try and make my way to financial independence. I have little experience in HYI programs but I suppose I am skillful enough to deal with this sort of thing.

2. Please tell us more about the investment plans offered by SantiVentures?. Do you think they will be sustainable in the long run? What payment processors do you use?

I can’t really do better than quote the following table:

Lite                           $15 – $800               1.30%
Standard               $800 – $2,500         1.60%
Professional         $2,500 – $10,000 2.30%
Premium            $10,000 – $25,000 2.80%

I am absolutely sure these plans are sustainable and I hope as an experienced investor one will agree with this. You already mentioned in your review that a member will get his initial deposit back upon maturity if he upgraded for a Lite plan. I’d love to offer the same for the other plans but I can’t. So why make promises which I have no responsibility, and can’t keep, right? However a member can make more than one individual Lite deposit. It will be allowed and so far a few members chose to opt for this choice. Long term investment presupposes compounding percent which is also available to our members.

At the present time SantiVentures accepts LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, StrictPay and AlertPay payment gateways. We tried to combine both anonymous irreversible style systems with some of the verified e-currencies. Both our SP and AP accounts are fully verified so therefore (hopefully) SantiVentures is not going to get into payment difficulties.

3. Do you think that you might prevent a lot of potential investments and investors by having such expensive plans? If they were cheaper to join, wouldn’t that ultimately lead to more investors depositing more money?

I have a counter question. How can I measure an expensive plan? Ok, I can conduct a short comparison with a certain number of other programs. But I would rather not do that as there are too many short term investments out here. That’s a different level and we cannot compete with them. SantiVentures is aimed at those investors who prefer a stable and sustainable approach. It’s about waking up in the morning, grabbing a cup of coffee and taking care of the things you want, all without rushing to your laptop to check whether your withdrawal was processed or not as tomorrow the program might go down with the money you just put into.

Of course, if entry points would be lower, say $50 deposit under a 2.5% daily interest we would possibly have a much bigger flow of incoming active investors. But I wouldn’t like to have a member who entrusted his money to me knowing this is not something I can deliver.

I can’t guarantee this right now but it is planned to lower the entry deposits for each of the plans sometime in early 2010. In other words it might get a little cheaper to join so SantiVentures might get some extra benefits.

4. How secure is the program’s website? What measures have you taken to protect your self from malicious hacking attempts and DDoS attacks? Who is your hosting provider and how satisfied are you with their performance?

Honestly speaking no website is completely secure, do you agree? The purpose is to minimize the risk of any attempt of doing harm to your digital property.

a) We use only licensed software
b) We take care of installing updates in a timely manner
c) Backup’s twice a week which are then securely stored offline with very limited access only to me and our tech guy.
d) SantiVentures is hosted on a dedicated server with enhanced DDoS protection provided by DDoSWiz service.
e) I am not afraid of maintenance or problems involved with maintenance. It’s more comfortable to suffer a few hours of downtime while having your server properly updated than facing greater problems afterwards.

5. Tell us also about the script you are using. Is it licensed? How would you rate it from an admin’s point of view. Also, tell us why you are not using SSL encryption. Don’t you think it’s necessary?

SantiVentures is using a licensed Pro version of GoldCoders software just with some minor changes implemented by GoldCoders. It’s really hard to rate it in terms of functions or simplicity as I usually use it a few times a week for statistical and performance figures. But I have never heard of any trouble with that from our operator who makes use if it on a daily basis. So far so good.

6. What advertising strategy are you using to promote SantiVentures so far? How big a part have the members played in this? Are you satisfied with that level of support and do you think you could improve it?

Our members are playing almost 80% percent of our advertising structure. That’s just perfect. As it’s much more convenient to have a member who knows exactly about why and what he gives money for and we don’t need to force anybody to invest it. Say I had a nice bargain when buying an I-phone 30% off the regular price. My friend wouldn’t hesitate to go for the same bargain shortly as he knows it’s worthy. Word of mouth if I am correct.

We have an extended advertising budget for 2010 to increase traffic and PR. I personally would love to see more blogs like MNO taking part in promoting SantiVentures, interviews and reviews is a strong marketing technique which I think we all have to take advantage of.

7. What level of customer service and support do you provide? What is the most effective way to communicate with you if I have some questions? Tell us about your Live Chat feature as well. What hours can I expect to find you there each day?

You can contact our support via email or live chat. Joel is too busy now so the hours you can make use of the Live Chat are very limited. But we promise 2010 will be completely different. However those members who happened to turn to us for help will readily confirm the highly professional level of our support service.

8. I am also interested in your postal address. What would I find there if I called during business hours? Is it a "virtual" managed office for collecting mail or would I find a real working business staffed by SantiVentures employees? What about the fax number? If I sent a fax with private information how can I be sure about who is going to be seeing it at the other side?

First of all let me say that the address, PO and fax are 100% real and managed by real people. Any mail or fax has private status so you don’t really have to worry about security. If you would like to make sure of our company documents please request them through our mailing form. I can’t think of any reason why I should post legal copies of the company documents right on the website. At any rate this is very careless and silly. As far as I can see placing legal papers for public use becomes no more than a marketing strategy for many HYIP’s which at a certain rate reflects the way they care about the company privacy.

I won’t lie by saying we have a rented office in the central tower of the city with employees and secretaries all over the place with pleasant smiles and happy faces like “How may I help you today, Sir?”. All I can say we already have a small but strong legal basement in the first place and readiness to develop it especially in the upcoming year. We are also planning a dedicated phone line which is supposed to help people with general questions, not like “Please call back later or send us an email” type of service.

9. Many investors traditionally get extremely cautious around this time. Christmas often throws up a lot of scams from admins as well as a lot of Hit ‘n’ Runners from the investors. How do you intend to deal with both of those?

All I can say is that I prefer to stay away from scams at any time of the year. It’s not just a seasonal problem.

10. What can you tell us about the outside business interests of SantiVentures? What are you doing with investors money to generate such enormous profits? What evidence can you offer on that?

Mainly ForEx managed accounts. ForEx has really been the greatest breakthrough in the last years. It imposes risks but that’s the image of how the market theory has to function. I don’t trade members’ money myself, once in 3 months I pick up new traders and new trading strategy to reduce the draw down effect. Like 6 years ago I set a strong affiliate network in GRAWE insurance company which pays out nice commissions. That was my first successful venture that I haven’t given up till now. And lastly I came up with the idea of investing money in online booking systems. Hotels, tickets, car rental, whatever. Might be a surprise but if you took a closer look at turnover dynamics you would probably doubt if there ever was an economic downturn.

Our stats and reports will be available to public soon. Just let it some time.

11. And finally, if you had just one opportunity to address potential investors of SantiVentures and tell them why your program is better than the rest, what would you say?

It’s hypocrisy not to admit there are great investment programs over Internet. You will never be the best as there is always going to be someone else with some better skills in a particular field. SantiVentures has a very careful approach to planning. This means we all think twice, I always think twice before I go further. What else is SantiVentures is one of the truly stable programs. Those are supposed to be positive features.

Thanks for this opportunity to get interviewed on MNO. My sincere regards go to you, Paul, and your readers."

Thanks a lot as well to Vikor and I’d also like to wish him and his members every success for the coming New Year.

That’s it for the moment guys but don’t stray too far as I’m not quite finished yet. I’m not expecting that much news today but I will be back in a couple of hours anyway with whatever news updates there are. I guess all the HYIP admins will be in bed early waiting for Santa Claus! So stay tuned for that and see you all then!

23/12/2009. 220Group Review and Other News

Posted: 23 Dec 2009 06:58 PM PST

Hi everyone! I’m glad to say things are finally starting to quieten down for the week and there is finally less to report on. So what will probably be the last new review before Christmas (I doubt I’ll be finding any new programs in the next couple of days) I want to take a closer look at the last of the new batch of programs that were added to my monitoring page.

The program is called 220Group and it’s a short term HYIP. I have mixed feelings about most online HYIPs, but it’s probably even more so with this one. Maybe it’s just because I was monitoring them for so long before writing this as they have been on my monitoring page for the last nine days. Anyway, I can only comment on my own personal experience with them, and that is what I’ll do.

There are three plans altogether in 220Group for a variety of short term periods. The first one is called The Gold Plan and it runs for a term of 7 days. During that time interest accumulates in your account by the day although you don’t actually get paid anything until expiry. That’s the way it is with all three of the plans. Anyway, in this one 220Group adds 17.1% profit to your account per day for the length of the plan which on expiry should be a total of 119.7% returned to you. This will include your principal. The minimum investment is $10 and the maximum is $10,000.

Next is The Diamond Plan and it is open to all deposits from a minimum of $500 up to the same maximum of $10,000. The daily rate of interest here will be 12.5% which builds up throughout the duration of the plan before you can withdraw. The duration is 12 days and the payment on expiry will be 150%, principal included.

And finally we have The Platinum Plan. Minimum investment here will be $700. The maximum stays at $10,000. The daily rate of interest is 10.5% which can only be withdrawn on expiry. The plan runs for a term of 21 days this time which should leave you with 220% on completion. Principal is again already factored in to this.

If you want to sign up for 220Group then the payment options will include AlertPay, LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, and StrictPay. Not a bad choice for such a short term HYIP, although it didn’t stop me from having some severe problems getting my money out again. I was in the first Gold Plan but when it came time to getting paid after day number 7 my deposit was put "on hold". I only received a portion of what I was owed. I contacted the admin, never received a reply, (I’m still waiting!) and only after 48 hours was the rest of my deposit released. No explanation has been made.

On the plus side however there is an internal e-currency exchange that allows you to deposit via one e-currency and withdraw via another with no fees.

I’d have a few questions about the security and design of 220Group though. The design is pretty average, though that’s not overly important if the program is good, and it’s just my opinion anyway. What I can say for sure though is that the script is not a licensed version. The admin could only make a vague excuse for this with his assertion that there are backdoors into the GoldCoders script, put that only raises the question as to why he didn’t purchase another one that he is happy with rather than a pirated version of a script you don’t trust. The server stats aren’t really that impressive either with the program being hosted on a shared server. Communication and customer support is through the regular online support ticket form. Unfortunately, and I base this on personal experience, communication has been almost non-existent. There are discussion threads open on the main investment forums as well. Despite the admin claiming almost 1200 members the amount of activity on those forums is surprisingly slow. So I can only question the accuracy of those statistics as well.

No information is given about the business activities of 220Group or what (if anything) they are doing to Generate such unfeasibly large profits. OK, there is mention of "currency related investment opportunities" but as usual no real solid information as to the nature of their business. Take it therefore as a purely online based HYIP game.

Slow payments, pirated script, shared server, and bad customer support. At a time when short term programs are coming under an increasing amount of scrutiny from the investors, the admin of a short term program could really have made a better effort than this.

Other news for today.

It’s nearly Christmas and the days to the New Year also counting down. So many programs continue to update their clients about their schedule during the holidays. One of the longest surviving programs NanoMoneyCorp which has been online for over 4 years already and paying 1.2% for 30 business days and other plans (read more in my review here) issued an important update regarding Bank holidays which will affect only those wishing to invest or withdraw via Bank wires. If you use LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney these days off will not affect you in any case as you will still be receiving your daily earnings from Monday to Friday and will be able to request your withdrawal as usual. There was nothing about the extra days off for NanoMoneyCorp staff so I guess the holidays will not affect the cashouts in any way. NanoMoneyCorp is probably one of the few programs that will work as usual during the Christmas festive season. Here is the latest email from the admin of NanoMoneyCorp (interviewed here):
"Important notice!
Dear investors and partners!
First of all we would like to with you Happy holidays! Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year. May your financial expectations never fail you and the new year would bring you only positive moments! From our side we would do everything to secure and multiply your capitals.
We have done that last 4 years for you and would continue our job as long as possible. At least 4 more years.
We have an important notice about the dates our bank would be working on holidays.
Bank holidays: 25 Dec 2009, 1 and 6 January 2010. The following cut-off times will apply on Thursday 24/12 and on Thursday 31/12:
For Same Day Value transfers in any currency: 12:30 hrs local time, for all other transactions: 13:30 hrs local time (GMT – 3 hours).
Laiki (our bank) Autopay files, which will be sent on 31/12/2009 by 16:00 will be executed on the same day, but due to the end of year processes, the funds will be available for confirmation in the afternoon of 01/01/2010. Please mind that this info is pertinent to bank wire transfers and withdrawal requests to bank accounts.
All transactions in e-currencies would be processed in normal manner and our company would work normal conditions from Monday to Friday with day-offs on week-ends.
"

Another long-term program with an excellent payment record for over a year GeniusFunds (reviewed here) announced that due to official holidays in Cyprus 4 days will be added as non-trading days. This means that on those days the accounts will not be credited with earnings for the daily plan (1.0%-1.9% daily) while the earnings to the deposits made into the weekly plan (6%-9% weekly) will be adjusted to reflect those days off. It will also affect some deposits made via Bank wires that could be credited to your GeniusFunds accounts later than usual. Please read more about this in the latest news from them:
"Public Holidays
Due to public holidays in Cyprus, our offices will be closed on the 24th, 25th, 31st of December, 2009 and on the 1st of January, 2010. Pending wire transfers will be completed today and on Monday, the 28th of December. No dividends will be paid on the these days and weekly dividend payments will be adjusted to reflect the holidays. GeniusFunds team wishes all our investors a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
"

Due to the upcoming Christmas holidays the admin of SazaInvestments Ricardo (interviewed here) decided to open the cashout button 24 hours earlier than usual. All the investors of SazaInvestments were warned about that beforehand so they could plan their withdrawals accordingly. Here is the email I received from the program:
"Because it’s almost Christmas we decided to start the payments today, in about 12 hours from now and they will remain opened for 24 hours as usual. We do this for our team to can have their Christmas too and we hope you all understand. For next week we will let you know in time about the payments schedule. Thank you all for your trust in us. Regards, SazaInvestments Team".

At the time of writing this cashout button in SazaInvestments has been opened already and it will remain open till tomorrow, December 24, 9 pm GMT. Please do not forget to place your withdrawal request to the right e-currency account you have made your deposit with. SazaInvestments still remains one of the most popular investment program among MNO readers offering 8%-10% weekly payments with no expiration. The payment record of SazaInvestments has been excellent since May 2009 and the program currently occupies #2 on my monitoring page. You will be able to read more about that in my detailed review of SazaInvestments published here. And this is the latest payout reminder from the program:
"It’s almost Friday so it’s payday again. Please don’t forget to request your withdrawals correct so that won’t be canceled. Thank you all for your trust in us. Regards, SazaInvestments Team".

I have some very strong reactions from people that are behind the legitimate ventures that were outraged with the obvious lies the admin of MoneyPlus provided in the interview published here. You can find much interesting info in the comments beneath it. Ok, so what do we have here? There is no such man as Dr. William Stone in Oxford University who is allegedly behind MoneyPlus as their CEO. And a man who can barely speak English claiming to be a lecturer in Oxford University? Come on! MoneyPlus Group Ltd is a properly registered UK company with their own website which is in no way connected with MoneyPlus site. CreditPlus and Kaspid are in no way affiliated with MoneyPlus and never sold or borrowed their layout to them so MoneyPlus is using their design unlawfully. Such clear lies from the admin of MoneyPlus cannot be tolerated and of course some legal action might still possibly be taken against their website pretty soon for the copyright infringement. So far MoneyPlus is paying fine but in my opinion they need to urgently change their design and remove all connections with the sites that were affected by their illegal actions. Otherwise their site could be shut down by the authorities in the near future and there will be many investors that will suffer. So I suggest to all the investors of MoneyPlus to put immediate pressure on MoneyPlus admin and make him remove all mention of the above-mentioned ventures to continue their activities. But from this point MoneyPlus has a very shaky reputation and I don’t know honestly for how long it will stay online. Sorry to say this but it was the admin of MoneyPlus and not me who spreading the lies about the questionable connections with other companies. So I would like to state clearly that the interviews that are being published on MNO are the words of the interviewee is not necessary shared by myself. I’m simply a blogger that gives an opportunity to the admins to speak in their own words. If I receive any more complaints from the sites that were affected by publishing the interview with MoneyPlus I will simply have no other choice but to remove the interview from my blog completely.

Two sites were experiencing some temporary downtime today but fortunately came back online with no further issues. The first one was Verifield (reviewed here) that was down due to some technical issues described by the admin below:
"Unplanned maintenance
This morning Verifield website became unavailable for approximately 6 hours. The downtime happened due to the hard drive controller malfunction that had to be changed. We apologize for inconvenience caused and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. Currently the website is back on-line and all systems are 100% functional.
"

InstantMoneyBets website (reviewed here) was offline due to the their bandwidth limit being exceeded. I believe that they sorted this out with their hosting provider already as the site of InstantMoneyBets is working fine at the moment. There will be slight payment delays on Christmas day but after that everything should be back to normal. Here is the latest news from the admin of InstantMoneyBets (interviewed here):
"Today we have had a little problem with our server, we have set the wrong limit but now everything is resolved and we are back to normal.
Also we wish you a Marry Christmas.
On Xmas days all payouts will done max. after 36 hours, after Xmas we are back to 24hours.
Best wishes, Michael and Martin
".

DreamFunds program (reviewed here) sent out a very short email today with some best Christmas wishes to all its members:
"Hello, Accept our hot Greetings….DreamFunds LTD Group Wish all of you and Your Pals Having a Happy merry Christmas. Best Regards, DreamFunds LTD Group".

Yes, I can feel Christmas in the air so I would like to take a quick 24 hour Christmas poll. Basically, I would like to know how you’re planning to celebrate the coming Christmas. Please vote in my poll that situated in the very bottom of my right sidebar. It would be really interesting to hear your plans.

It seems that Karin, the admin of XrateInvest finally replied to my email and she promised to take care of all the missing deposits as soon as possible. I know that somebody was paid already and I would like to hear your feedback on the recent payment issues in XrateInvest. So if you have any comments or questions about the performance of XrateInvest program please don’t hesitate to contact me at abramsonp@gmail.com I will gladly forward your emails to Karin if you have any issues in your account.

I myself plan to take this Christmas as a day off so there will be no updates on my blog on this day. Maybe I will publish an interview if I have it but otherwise I will just take a day off from work. I hope MNO deserves a break too.

And finally to finish, I got paid today from the following programs:
220Group, XagaEnterprise, GeniusFunds, KobelCapital, DreamFunds, ArbsFund, FaithInvestment, HugMoney, MandarinInvest, Caziroca, RefMotor, IncoForex, Flanita, CSMFinance, AtlantisMutual, FinanceNova, TheKapital, OneDailyPro, Investorum, NanoMoneyCorp, GoldNuggetInvest, TradeZoom, ArbisPro, RosalinFinance, GlobalFund, Verifield and SazaInvestments.

That’s all for today, guys. See you tomorrow with the interview with the admin of SantiVentures (reviewed here) and the all the hot pre-Christmas news from the Industry. Merry Christmas!

Trailer: Furry Vengeance

Posted: 22 Dec 2009 11:52 PM PST

There wasn't much press (that I could find) back in August about the movie the Brendan Fraser was in town shooting: Furry Vengeance (here). I'm pretty amazed that the trailer is already out, it's only been a few months.

They did most of the filming in Topsfield, so I didn't really recognize anything in the trailer. Can you?

Fenway Skating Tix Not So Free Anymore

Posted: 22 Dec 2009 11:45 PM PST

Were any of you fortunate enough to score free tickets to the Fenway skating event later in January (here)? Because if you weren't, chances are you're not going to be able to afford them on the resale market. It's kind of disappointing.

Tickets for the extraordinary skating opportunity at Fenway, handed out to city families as part of Boston's New Year's celebrations, were going for as much as $1,800 for four on websites such as Craigslist and eBay, outraging city officials and event organizers who want to know the identities of the people conniving against others for a buck.

The pic above from the Globe is about as close as I'm going to get to the rink this year.

22/12/09. ArbisPro Review and Other News

Posted: 22 Dec 2009 07:50 PM PST

Hi guys! Hope you enjoyed the interview from earlier this afternoon. For the second post today I’d like to continue with the theme of long term investment programs and take a look at another recent addition to my monitoring list. It’s called ArbisPro and it’s the latest in a growing number of online HYIPs using the increasingly popular concept of investment plans with no expiry dates. In other words once you become a member, you stay a member, and you continue to get paid until such a time as you yourself decide to leave.

There are numerous examples of such programs out there of varying degrees of success. Look no further than my monitoring page to see for yourself but among the best are GoldNuggetInvest and SazaInvestments. And in keeping with the trend set by GNI, ArbisPro is the latest program to be claiming to generate their profits from the world of sports gambling. Or arbitrage betting to be more exact. More about that in a moment but first how about we have a look at what ArbisPro is offering its members? See if you like it.

There are just the two investment plans available from ArbisPro. One of them is well beyond the reach of most, especially when it comes to such a new and unproven program as this. But then again, how many plans do you need if you like the one that’s on offer? Anyway, the first one is called The Weekly Classic Plan and it is open to all deposits between a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $10,000. In return you will be offered a weekly rebate of 10% interest on your deposit. You will then continue to receive this 10% payment every week for the duration of the programs life span.

Of course you are free to withdraw from ArbisPro any time after a certain lock-in period. Just take your principal and leave. The thing about that is however that the lock-in period is 10 weeks. Exactly how long it will take you to recoup your principal from your weekly payments. Assuming of course that ArbisPro last that long in the first place, from that point on everything you earn would be considered as pure profit, so I don’t really see the logic in withdrawing your principal after that date.

The second plan is called The Weekly Premium Plan and is strictly for those with more money than sense. Or should I say "more dollars than sense"! Anyway at a minimum of $10,001 to join, ArbisPro have a long long way to go before proving themselves deserving of such large amounts of anyone’s money. But purely for your information the plan itself works exactly like the other one except that your weekly interest repayment will be 12%. Your principal is still subject to the same 10 week lock-in period, after which you’re free to leave. Again, and it’s totally a question of personal preference, if I had regained my principal in the form of weekly payments over the preceding weeks then I would most likely leave it there and collect a passive income for as long as the program runs. But that’s just me.

A couple of other important points you need to keep in mind about the plans before getting involved include the following:
First of all you can in fact withdraw from the program before the 10 week lock-in period expires, but the penalties for doing so are a punitive 30%, so think before you leap, ok?
Secondly, when joining what you are actually being asked to do is to buy shares. A share costs $10 (the minimum investment) and you can only invest in blocks of $10 after that.
And finally the choice of payment options. It’s pretty good with most of the popular options accepted. AlertPay, LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, and StrictPay all make the list. Payments are promised within 24 hours but please keep in mind that there are some deposit fees applied here. They vary from 1% to 2% depending on your chosen payment option.

What else? The design of ArbisPro is quite nice. Well laid out, easy to navigate, easy to read, simple but effective. The script is really interesting though and as far as I can remember I don’t think I’ve ever seen it used before. It’s not totally unique to them though as I know that they bought it on the open market. Maybe it’s more than just coincidence but a lot of the better HYIPs (GeniusFunds, PanaMoney, etc) run off unique custom built scripts, preferring that to the generic options you see on so many programs these days. Not that I’m putting ArbisPro in their league or anything, we have a long way to go before that happens. I know it guarantees nothing but using such a script is a nice touch and demonstrates a certain level of motivation on behalf of the admin. In other words if ArbisPro was intended as a fast scam there would be easier ways of going about it than this.
They are hosted on a dedicated Staminus server with protection from DDoS attacks provided by Koddos.
Communication with the admin comes in the form of the usual online e-mail support ticket system. You may also mail them directly if that is how you prefer to do things.

And finally we get to the subject of the outside business interests of ArbisPro. A thorny subject at the best of times with most online HYIPs, ArbisPro are no different. As mentioned at the beginning they claim involvement in betting on sports events. And why not? It’s a pastime enjoyed by millions worldwide and I’ve even been known to make a small one on the football myself from time to time. And to the naked eye ArbisPro’s explanation does indeed look totally feasible and even backed up by a practical example. The thing is that the example given is that of a football game that was played over two years ago. And ArbisPro have only been online for the last four days.

But as well as that, the texts are copied from so many open sources it’s unbelievable! If they really are involved in arbitrage betting, or anything original, then why not have some new and original text here? If I wanted to hear about some two year old football match then fine, but how about some fresh examples?

But the point is that until some serious proof is added then this is just another online HYIP. Albeit one with good promise, of course but just an online HYIP.

Other news for today.

As we get closer to Christmas there are less and less news updates to report on. Christmas bonuses and holidays are what dominate the stories we do have. Of course it’s a smart move from the admins not to pay on Christmas and New Year (blaming it on the lack of trading sessions) but continuing to accept deposits at the same time. We all know that this time is supposed to be harsh on HYIPs and that only the strongest will survive the festive season. So what do I have to report to you today?

The admin of WestFinance (reviewed here) made everybody aware about the maintenance of his website will be undergoing shortly. There will be another domain available temporarily where you will be able to login to your account and make deposits or withdrawals. The investors will be able to enjoy a faster server after the maintenance is completed which should improve the speed of loading. Meanwhile the admin of WestFinance (the program is paying 1.8%-2.5% daily for 120 days) used this opportunity to remind us about a couple of bonuses that will expire before the end of 2009. Here is the latest newsletter from him:

".

GeniusFunds (reviewed here) underwent some problems earlier today when the site itself was online but the members were unable to login and access their accounts. This has since been fixed however and the reason remains unknown as the latest news can be found on the website but makes no mention of this:
"Prize Draw
Yesterday we held a draw among those who submitted their testimonials to Panos Christodoulou. For privacy reasons, winners will be notified by e-mail within 48 hours. The prize, $500, will be credited to winning accounts after notification.
"

AsiaInv (reviewed here) paid me on expiry today. The payment was instant to LibertyReserve although the amount was about $200. So I can confirm that AsiaInv is still successfully paying on all the plans on offer: 1.5% for 10 calendar days, 2% for 20 business days and 2.5% for 40 business days with the principal returned on expiry.

I simply love the new site of PTVPartner (reviewed here). What about you guys? Never mind, I got a kind of reminder from the admin Garrett (interviewed here) today in my mailbox but maybe it’s too late to publish it on my blog. But if not then maybe you will be able to attend the next meeting and Christmas party which is due today. And yes, just forgot to mention that the payouts from PTVPartner were not affected at all and I still receive my payments every day like clockwork. There are four investment plans on expiry which you can invest into PTVPartner in: 110% after 10 days, 125% after 20 days, 145% after 30 days, 190% after 40 days. Here’s the latest update from Garrett:
"Don't forget about the Christmas Party and Meeting!

If you haven’t read my interview with the admin of FinanceNova today you can do so here. And for more details about the program which has changed for the better please refer to my detailed review published here. I remind you that FinanceNova is paying 2.15% for 365 days (payouts on business days only) and 11% for 53 weeks with the principal returned on expiry. The admin recently sent a mass email informing the members about the interview on MNO:
"Leading money making blog, Money News Online, has just published the interview with Mr Mitja Majerle, CEO at FinanceNova.
You can read the entire interview at http://money-news-online.com/blog/2009/12/22/22122009-interview-with-the-admin-of-financenova/
If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact us. We would like to hear your ideas on improving FinanceNova and making it even better.
Best regards, FinanceNova support
".

I’m glad to report that I finally managed to request my payout from 220Group and was paid successfully within 24 hours. I don’t know what’s wrong about their script (because I didn’t receive any answer to my support request) but it seems there is some 48 hour on hold period on expiry when you can’t withdraw your earnings for any of the plans on offer: 119.7% after 7 days, 150% after 12 days and 220% after 21 days. I hope the admin could address my concerns by answering my email so I could review his program on MNO by tomorrow.

I’m not sure how to treat the following email I received today allegedly from the admin of TalixMetals (interviewed here) to my mailbox. I really do not think it was genuine, It was an announcement of a new plan which I couldn’t find in my members’ area so I am kinda doubtful that this is the original email. But anyway, here it is and if you’re a member of TalixMetals I’m sure you will be interested to look into it:
"TalixMetals Holiday plan.
Based on our 62% profit of our last trading week we have decided to create this holiday plan for our members to enjoy this holiday season.
Spend $50-$5000 and get 3% after 24 hours. Both investment and interest will be paid after 24 hours and this promo will end 31th December 2009.
Specify payment if it id for the two days plan or for our forever plan. Happy holiday.
Admin, TalixMetals.
"

IncoForex (reviewed here) published their Christmas and New Year holiday work timetable today. Please note that on the days specified your account in IncoForex will not be credited with variable earnings due to no trading (please read more about the variable returns in my interview with the admin published here). Meanwhile, on those days the deposits will still be accepted and the withdrawal requests will still be processed. Please read the whole update from IncoForex for more info:
"Christmas and New Year working Schedule
Dear Investors! Please pay your attention on our working schedule during Christmas and New Year holidays.
We have NON-trading days DEC 24-25, DEC 29-31, JAN 1, JAN 4-5
Deposits and withdrawal requests are processed as usual even on holidays and week-ends.
Regular trading and profit calculation will be started from JAN-6.
"

One of the most popular low-ROI programs PanaMoney (reviewed here) will be on holidays as well. However the holidays will be much longer for PanaMoney and starting tomorrow for 11 days. The regular trading sessions will resume only on January 4. Here is the latest update from the admin of PanaMoney (read my interview with him here):
"PanaMoney Christmas Holidays
According to the Terms of Service, December 23, 2009 – January 3, 2010 are non-trading days due to multiple Christmas and New Year holidays, including weekends. The trading will restart on January 4. Customer Support can be contacted through all means specified on Contact Us page. Live chat will be available Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm Panama time (-5 GMT) except for December 24-25 and December 31-January 1.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
"

The administration of InstantMoneyBets (interviewed here) warned members about spamming e-mails which are still circulating online soliciting money to some LR account and told us that AlertPay was still blocking their account so the withdrawals are still not possible to them :
"Some members received again a scam email with an special offer. This is a scam email/offer never send by us. Please delete it.
AlertPay still block our Account, we will write a email within the next 24-48hours with new instruction.
Martin and Michael
".

I have received a couple of complaints about missing payouts from XrateInvest today so I contacted the admin Karin and will wait for her response before moving the program to Problem status. Hopefully everything will be alright by tomorrow.

It seems that 4CountriesCapital stopped paying completely so my warning about the selective payouts made a few days ago was fair and clearly indicated that the program had some cashflow problems. Well, for now 4CountriesCapital is being moved to Not Paying status on my monitoring page and I suppose it’s gone already. Please don’t invest there anymore!

Many programs continue to pay me despite any winter holidays or quiet period. So to finish I would just like to let you know the programs from which I received payouts over the last 24 hours. They include:
GoldNuggetInvest, ArbsFund, ZenithInvetsment, 220Group, AbisMoney, Infinitum, NanoMoneyCorp, InstantMoneyBets, FaithInvestment, PanaMoney, StableInterest, StarkFund, DreamFunds, ArbisPro, GeniusFunds, KobelCapital, AsiaInv, RefMotor, CSMFinance, Flanita, IncoForex, MandarinInvest, AimTrust, InvestmentForge, Verifield, OneDailyPro, Investorum, Vegamex, MoneyPlus, FinanceNova, CedexInvest, PTVPartner, SantiVentures, GlobalFund, RosalinFinance and WestFinance.

That’s it for today guys! See you back here again tomorrow!

22/12/2009. Interview with the admin of FinanceNova

Posted: 22 Dec 2009 09:40 AM PST

Hi everyone! As the countdown to Christmas continues there seems no let up in the workload for MNO. So we have another day of posting two updates, and another year of last minute gift shopping! Oh well, not a bad complaint to have either I suppose. Anyway, just like yesterday I’ll be back a little later with all the days most important news stories as well as another review of the most recent addition to my monitoring page, so make sure and check back later for that.

But first I want to share this recent interview with Mitija, whose the admin of FinanceNova. A couple of things have changed since my original review of the program (published here) most notably the design has been almost completely overhauled and is now much more professional, as well as being easier to find your way around. Something that hasn’t changed though is the plans. FinanceNova is still one of the longest fixed term programs on the net with 2.15% for 365 days or 11% for 53 weeks. Both plans give your principal back on expiry.

"1. Please introduce yourself to the readers of money-news-online. Tell us about your own role within FinanceNova. Who else is involved in managing the program with you? What can you tell us about your experience in running an online investment program?

My name is Mitija Majerle. I was born in Italy, but I currently live in Panama, which is also the base of operations for FinanceNova.

I am the CEO and the FOREX trader. We have two great stock traders who generate the biggest part of the profits. We also have one employee who is in charge of user support and payments and, due to our growth, it seems we shall soon have to employ more people in that position.

2. Can you give us some background information on FinanceNova? How long have you been online? What are you realistically hoping to achieve by running this site?

The three of us (the two traders and me) were working together for the past 4 years. In the beginning we worked as a closed, private, fond for a couple of large investors. As we operated superbly as a team and achieved excellent results, we decided to offer our services to the public. We quickly realized that the best solution is the Internet. And so we started a site, which is online since the 4. September of this year. Our expectations? We hope that in a year, until the end of 2010, FinanceNova will be an recognizable brand as the best online investment program. Some might think that such expectations are unreal, but with regards to the good and stable profit we are generating, I find them realistic.

3. What are the investment plans you are offering investors? What are the minimum and maximum amounts to invest? What payment processors are you currently dealing with? Are payouts automatic or do I need to request them?

We offer two plans, daily and weekly. As their names suggest, with the daily plan the investor gets daily payouts while the weekly one offers one payout a week. The profit for the daily plan is 2.15%, and it is 11% for the weekly plan. The minimum investment is only $1. We offer that so new investors can test our program with a small investment.

Payment processors with which we currently work are GlobalDigitalPay, LibertyReserve, and PerfectMoney. There is also a possibility that we will add others, if our investors show interest. The payouts are processed manually, with a maximum time frame of 24 hours, although in practice it usually takes less time. On average it takes around 2 hours to process one withdrawal.

4. Security is a huge concern for online investors. What steps have you taken to protect FinanceNova from hackers and DDoS attacks? Who is your hosting provider and are you on a dedicated server? Who provides the script and is it licensed?

We pay close attention to security. As you already know just a few days ago we migrated to a new, better, and more safe server. Our server is dedicated, DDoS protected and we have an SSL certificate. Black Lotus does the hosting.

We are currently using a licensed Gold Coders script, but we are planning to use a unique one in the future as this one does not accommodate all the requirements we have. The second option is that we make arrangements with the Gold Coders programmers so that they modify the script to fill our requirements. This is all still in the planning phase, and we did not make any decisions yet.

5. I also know that you have made major changes to the design recently. First of all can you explain why you thought this was necessary? And secondly can you tell us what the practical benefits of this are for the investors?

Put simply, many disliked our old design. It was hard to navigate, and we probably lost some potential investors because of it.

The new design is far more easy to navigate. And it’s prettier to boot!

6. What advertising strategy are you using to further promote FinanceNova among potential new investors? Are you happy with the level of support offered by existing members?

To be honest, we did not invest much in promotion. Aside from a few monitors and forums, most of out investors came thanks to the referrals of our pleased costumers. That also means I am very pleased with the support of our costumers, and I believe that they are also pleased with us.

7. What about the success of the program overall so far? Are you pleased with the level of growth to date? Can you give us any statistics on the amount of members and the total amount deposited? What are your expectations over the coming months?

It seems that the investors have recognized the quality of our service, so as a result we have grown faster and stronger than we had initially expected. That is unfortunately all I can say as our statistics are confidential.

As I already said, we are expecting to become the leading online investment program by the end of next year.

8. What level of customer support do you offer members? How can they contact you if they have any issues with their investments?

They can contact us through a support ticket form. Support is quick and efficient.

9. Long term HYIPs can often be more successful for investors than short term ones. Why do you think this is? What is your opinion of short term programs, long term programs, and the online HYIP industry in general?

Well, the issue at hand is the fact that those, so called, “short term” programs are indeed typical Ponzi schemes or frauds. When you see someone offering 50% for one day you can be pretty certain that those people will disappear (together with your money) in a few days. Can you make some profit in such schemes? Maybe, if you invest in the beginning, but that is gambling pure and simple.

Generally, online investments are full of false promises and frauds. If you learn how to identify which is which, you will be successful.

10. Christmas has never been a good time for online HYIPs. There are a lot of scams around at the moment. What do you think about that and what would you like to say to convince readers that you are genuine?

I agree, we already received a few e-mails from investors who are afraid of frauds. We told each of them that if they are afraid then they can wait a bit, until Christmas passes, to invest in FinanceNova. We do not push people to invest. They can wait for January. We will still be there.

11. And finally what are the future plans for FinanceNova? What can we expect from you over the coming weeks and months? Will there be any further changes or improvements that you may consider?

Yes, as we had promised earlier, we are planning some positive changes. We will not unveil them for now though, we want to keep them as a nice surprise.

Finally, I want to thank you for allowing me to introduce myself and FinanceNova on your site. Also, I would like to wish you readers happy holidays. Thank you."

I’d also like to say thanks to Mitija for taking the time to answer my questions and wish him and his program all the best for the holiday season. I hope you found it interesting and helpful in deciding if FinanceNova is suitable for you or not.

While it’s difficult to picture FinanceNova as an overnight success, that can also be part of its strength. It’s been a slow burner up until now for sure, but it’s also been a consistent performer as well.

That’s all for now everyone but as I said at the start I’ll be back in a short while with all the important news stories from the programs on my monitoring page so don’t go far, OK!

World Premiere of The Company Men - 1/28

Posted: 21 Dec 2009 11:02 PM PST

Remember when Ben Affleck was in town earlier this summer to film The Company Men (here)? Well, the WORLD PREMIERE is going to be in Boston at the Coolidge Corner Theatre which is kind of amazing. Does that mean we're going to have red carpet event in town? I sure hope so.

Sundance Film Festival USA has chosen the Coolidge Corner Theatre to present the world premiere of THE COMPANY MEN on Thursday, January 28 at 7 pm. Director and screenwriter John Wells will screen his drama -- filmed on location in Boston -- about three company men attempting to survive a round of corporate downsizing while trying to fend off its effects on their families and their identities.

The stellar cast includes homeboy Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Maria Bello, Harvard grad Tommy Lee Jones, Massachusetts resident Chris Cooper, and Rosemarie DeWitt. Tickets will be available online at www.coolidge.org and at the Coolidge box office, located at 290 Harvard Street in Brookline, beginning January 4 for Coolidge members and January 6 for the general public.

I'm going to be out of town at CES on 1/6, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm going to get online and try to score some tickets. Anyone know any Coolidge members?

21/12/2009. DreamFunds Review and Other News

Posted: 21 Dec 2009 09:09 PM PST

Hi everyone! Another Monday and with it comes good news and bad news. Bad news is that it’s the start of another wet and dreary week. Mind you with the recent snowfall the scene outside my window here in Fulham looks like something from a Charles Dickens story. Good news is that Santa is coming in just four more days! And not forgetting that today is the shortest day of the year, so the winter is already half over and the days get longer from tomorrow.

So for my second post today (hope you enjoyed the first one by the way) I want to take a look at one of the latest additions to my monitoring page. It’s called DreamFunds and they are an average short to mid term HYIP. Though to be blunt about it, and this is something I’d like you to be aware of right from the very beginning, it’s not exactly that new. In fact they have been running for around the last six weeks or so. Obviously there are always disadvantages to that, and the shorter the investment term the more acute they become. But DreamFunds might still have something to offer and especially with daily payments it looks ok for a while.

There are three investment plans to choose from here. All of them pay on business days only, Monday to Friday. And all of them include your principal in your payments. So don’t be waiting for that to be returned separately if you join.

The first, and no doubt the most popular, of these is called The Standard Plan and it is open to deposits starting from a minimum of just $5 up to a maximum of $1000. The investment term runs for 40 business days, which is 8 weeks. The rate of interest of interest paid on your deposit will be 3.6% per day. That adds up to 18% per week, or in the case of a $100 investment $3.60 per day or $18 per week. Upon expiry of the plan you should see back a total of 144% on your principal. You should recoup your initial principal after 28 business days.

If you want to play with something a little bigger then take a look at DreamFunds have an Advanced Plan. This also runs for 40 business days but is only open to deposits starting from a more ambitious $1000. The maximum spend is $5000 and the rate of interest on that will be 5.2% per day. Made five days per week that will accumulate to give you 26% interest per week and a total of 208% by the time the whole thing expires. Assuming they are still online that is, but at least you should have recouped your principal after 20 business days, or 4 weeks.

And finally, though it may not interest most of you but as there’s only three plans to begin with I’ll tell you about it anyway, we have The Professional Plan. Similar to the previous two, this plan also runs for 40 business days, or 8 weeks, but is only open to deposits of at least $5000. If you can spare that kind of cash 4 days before Christmas then you have my congratulations. And I doubt you need my advice on how to use it! But the interest rate being offered here is 7.4% per business day. Assuming it can be sustained that would add up to 37% per week, 296% on expiry, and allowing you to earn your principal back after 14 business days (or one day shy of three weeks).

A couple of other points about the plans you should know include despite the fact you only get paid by DreamFunds from Monday to Friday, you are free to make a withdrawal (if you have sufficient funds) any time you like, including weekends. The other thing is the payment options. At the moment they are acceptable for a standard run of the mill online HYIP. LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, and StrictPay are all fine. The thing is though that AlertPay, which had previously been accepted by DreamFunds, has recently been dropped.

Now I’m well aware that they are hardly the first online HYIP this has happened to, and likewise you should be aware of the strict criteria applied to such programs by this payment processor when accepting them for verification. My point here I suppose is about the alleged incorporation of DreamFunds as a registered business entity. If they are unable to convince an online payment processor dealing with 99% of its business coming from online HYIPs about it, then I suggest you ignore it too. It never proved anything anyway other than the admin was serious about his program when taking out the registration in the first place. It’s probably not a bad idea to skip on their business activities either. They supposedly range from ForEx to real estate but I have never known any of these things to provide returns as big in so short a time as those on offer here. The borrowed texts would tend to confirm that anyway. But not to be a complete cynic or anything, the admin has graciously agreed to allow me to upload his registration documents on MNO. He e-mailed them to me and you are welcome to inspect them by clicking here. They are registered under the name of Dumin Co Ltd and you are free to do whatever further research you like on them.

The security and design of DreamFunds is quite nice. Easy to navigate and running off a script licensed from MonetarySoft. I guess the most popular example of them in action would be SazaInvestments who have been using them since the start.

DreamFunds is also hosted on a dedicated Staminus server with protection from DDoS attacks provided by DdoSWiz. They are also using a secure SSL channel however, and this gives them a lot more credibility (as a website) in my opinion.

Any further questions can be sent to their customer support in a variety of ways. First, and the most common, is by submitting a support ticket via the online form. There is also a direct e-mail link if that is what you prefer. Live Chat is also in use, though as is only fair DreamFunds don’t offer this service 24 hours. But when it is online at least you can get an answer in real time. The other method is via telephone, though you won’t actually get to speak to anybody. It’s an answering and call-back service where you can leave a message and presumably they get back to you. I don’t know anybody who has used it before so if any readers had reason to call DreamFunds recently please let me know how it went.

The bottom line here is I guess that DreamFunds were good, are not as good as they used to be (the age and the dropping of AlertPay), but still have something to offer. But keep it sensible and don’t go stepping in with both feet. The best time to join this one is in the past but that’s not to say it’s no longer possible to earn anything at all from them either. Just keep it sensible, OK?

Other news for today.

First of all I would like to report some encouraging news about GoldNuggetInvest (reviewed here). It seems the program is getting back on track after a whole bunch of issues with payment processors and DDoS-attacks last week. I can see on forums that the payments have been successfully processed today to both LibertyReserve and StrictPay. It appears that GNI finally managed to fund more StrictPay to pay the members as there were many StrictPay cashouts being reported as processed today. If you are not sure that your StrictPay cashout is going to be processed in time and you don’t mind to receive your withdrawal to LibertyReserve please make sure that you cancel your withdrawal request to SP, use the internal e-currency exchanger in GNI (that now charges no fees for the exchange from SP to LR) and resubmit your withdrawal request to LR. Another great feature is the addition of automatic messages when all the members of GoldNuggetInvest will be able to receive by e-mail when their accounts are credited with earnings, so called earnings notifications.

I guess everything should be totally back to normal in a couple of days when all the GNI team is going to take a well-deserved holiday. Please note that during the specified dates the payments will not be processed and the support will not work either. There will be two big holidays for the Christmas and New Year periods respectively. So please read the following newsletter from GNI very carefully to avoid any confusion in the future:
"Seasons Greetings to All of our Friends at GNI:
What a year 2009 has turned out to be! We sure have had our share of success; to do so, however, we have faced some challenges of sizable proportion. We’re here, we’re moving into 2010 with a vision for our future, premised on an evolving Business Model that has served us well.
Like all progressive ventures in today’s economy, we must adapt to an ever increasingly dynamic business environment or risk succumbing to our adversaries, an option we don’t even want to consider.
This week, however, we want you all to enjoy this time with your friends, family and loved ones while taking a moment to remember those who are less fortunate.
Those of you who are new to our project, we welcome you with open arms; and to those who have been with us, we extend our hands to you in friendship knowing that our reason for being is our customers who are tried and true.
On behalf of Jurgen, Myself, Todd, Lim, Rumiko, Debbie, Ingenue and all of our Families, we wish you all a very happy Holiday Season and nothing but the best for a healthy and prosperous 2010.
Robert and your GNI Team

I’m glad to report that PTVPartner (reviewed here) now has a new website. I find it really good and easy-to-navigate. Of course if you have a slow internet connection you might the site might load more slowly than usual but this is how things work. I hope after familiarizing myself with the new features PTVPartner is offering I will be able to bring you another more up-to-date review of the program and describe all the new features in detail. So far though the investment plans remain the same: 110% after 10 days, 125% after 20 days, 145% after 30 days and 190% after 40 days. The four payment processors are still being accepted: PerfectMoney, LibertyReserve, StrictPay and GlobalDigitalPay. I have just received the latest update from Garrett, the admin of PTVPartner (interviewed here) about the new site and its features:
"It’s Here! … Finally!!! Our new WEBSITE is live!!!
Rave reviews, wonderful accolades and overall very well received by all who visit. We have a few issues to work out, but all in all we ARE EXCITED! This new website is BY FAR the most progressive website in all of HYIP land. And it will only get better and better and better.
The new website provides us a variety of new features as well as a very user friendly interface. It might take you a few minutes to determine how to navigate it properly, but no doubt you will be thrilled at the experience.
Have you found the hidden PTV Movie? Not really hidden, but not In-Your-Face either. We had the PTV Movie created to present some of favorite places and to provide you with a glimpse into the PT World. Check it out. It is slow to load at the moment. So once you find it, start the video and select pause, open the site back up by RIGHT clicking on another page and selecting ‘Open in New Tab’, now give the Movie time to fully load so you can experience the Movie the way it was meant to be experienced. Once it is fully loaded…press play and…Enjoy!
Currently, our server has 8GB of RAM and the bulk of site is cached on a proxy server providing DDOS protection but we are still slower than we want to be. We are adding an additional 8GB RAM hopefully tomorrow. In the meantime a couple of features are unavailable but insignificant to the use of the site. You can rest assured we will make it right.
We have several new features on the site including the PTV Radio. With PTV Radio you can listen to the latest information involving our Primary Project and the MNO Interview. I am hoping we can convince MNO to do an updated Interview and we will then record it there as well. We will be adding various other segments for you to listen to as well. Forthcoming we will add an Integrated Video Player where we can provide various Videos for the purpose of personal enjoyment as well as an Educational Resource. We are also going to add a 3D Photo gallery where we can provide some of our favorite photos for your enjoyment. We will then add a Favorite Links page in the form of a 3D Carousel where we can share with you the locations of our favorite forums, news sites, blogs and all other places we feel are worthy of your attention. We will also include a Calendar that will provide you an easy place to view your Investments, showing past, present and future maturity dates, invested amount and return. We have not forgotten about the Calculator. That too is in the queue.
These are just a few of the features we have in the ‘queue’ to create and implement. I have been asked several times, “Why are you going to such great lengths to create an HYIP website?” My answer has not changed since the first time I was asked. The reason is, we are not here to provide ‘Just another HYIP website’. We are here to build a community. We are here to turn the HYIP world upside down. We are here to provide a ’safe haven’ from the travesty that has befallen the world of HYIP. We are here to ensure your success! With that line up of direction, goals and the dedication backing it, we wanted to provide you with a State of the Art, Top of the Line, Best of the Best Interface as further proof we are here for the long term! We wanted to provide you with and Interface that Stands-Alone and held in Awe by all others. We wanted to provide you with a website that ‘Screams’ at the top of its lungs… This is PTV Baby… and we are here to stay!
We will be the Financial Giant of 2010! We are the Ultimate High Yield Investment Asset for your Offshore Financial Portfolio! Take a look for yourself. If you haven't noticed… then you just aren’t looking!
The Ultimate High Yield Asset for your Offshore Financial Portfolio!!!
Start the Experience … join PTVPartner to … Free your Life!!!

Surprisingly for me ArbsFund (reviewed here) opened another higher-paying plan today which they called Royal. So compared with the previous plan that paid only 8.5% weekly with no expiry the Royal plan will pay 10.5% weekly, also with no expiry. The main difference between those plans is that the minimum to invest in the old plan is still $20 while in Royal plan it’s $100. I’m not sure what the purpose of introducing a new plan at this particular time was but I guess it will help ArbsFund to stay afloat during what can be a difficult season for many. Here is the latest update from the admin of ArbsFund (interviewed here):
"Dear ArbsFund Stakeholder; Compliments to you, this period comes with a lot of celebrations and we are not leaving our members behind, we are opening a new opportunity for every one to benefit from and this is our ArbsFund Royal Plan which has the below listed features:
Pays 10.50% weekly forever
Allows 100% compounding of profits
Principal returned after 10 weeks
Minimum deposit of $100
Maximum deposit of $10,000
ArbsFund remains your No 1 program, running and paying all members just on time, we continue to answer all support emails in a very short period of time, we are working hard to provide you a Industry Standard Customer Service Approach.
If you have any inquiries about ArbsFund feel free to contact us and enjoy your membership with ArbsFund Inc.
Thank You! Sincerely Your’s, Public Relation Manager
For your success – ArbsFund Team
".

I think offering a Christmas bonus on each deposit to all the members of SantiVentures (reviewed here) will be a great consolation for the downtime which was due to some maintenance work on the server. So till the end of 2009 if you invest in any of the investment plans SantiVentures is offering (1.3%-2.8% for 150 business days) you will get a 10% bonus on top of that. The bonus can’t be withdrawn and will become a part of your deposit to help you achieve better profits from the program for a shorter period of time. Recently I have sent some questions to the admin of SantiVentures so hopefully the interview will be published on my blog soon. Stay tuned for that! And here is the latest newsletter which I just received a couple of hours ago:
"This is an important update to let you know that for the last 2 days our server was undergoing maintenance and important updates which took quite a long time. Technical staff made all efforts to make this change as smooth as possible so as to keep website accessible. If you had accessibility issues we strongly apologize for that.
It is planned to completely finish the process in a day or so. Meanwhile you can make use of the site features just as usual.
Server update and security is one of our priorities for the upcoming 2010 so your understanding is appreciated.
Here is some Christmas news!
For a limited time SantiVentures is offering a 10% extra bonus on top of every deposit made till December 31. Take advantage of this limited opportunity till December 31 and have happy and enjoyable holidays!
Thanks for staying with us.
Our best regards, SantiVentures. Info department
".

Sometimes bonuses though are used as a preparation for scamming. And the recent case with GloTrade proves this theory. As you might remember the admin promised some bonuses to everybody on Sunday allegedly due to good trading results. However apparently it was a well-planned scam to get more investors’ money before closing. Today as far as I’m aware nobody was paid and the bonus was not credited to anybody’s account. Moreover, I discovered that my account simply disappeared from the program’s database so now it’s absolutely impossible for me to login. I don’t know if the admin will give us an update on that soon but surely it’s not recommended to invest anything in GloTrade at this point. I have moved it to Problem status on my monitoring page.

The same goes with 220Group that apparently has some issues with their script which doesn’t allow to make a proper withdrawal request. I have moved 220Group to Waiting status and suggest to stay away from it until I receive some good news from the administration.

AtlantisMutual (reviewed here) warned today of malicious actions carried out by a spamming group hired by a copy-cat website SucceedTrade. I remind you that AtlantisMutual already reported about that site which resulted in me declining the request to monitor SucceedTrade though the admin begged me to accept his program. You know the result of that – a complete failure of that copycat program that managed to survive for only one month before scamming. Now it’s very probable that the admin will take revenge on AtlantisMutual for his own failure by hiring paid posters and spammers. I can confirm that AtlantisMutual is still paying instantly to both LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney on all the plans it offers: 105% after 7 days, 120% after 21 days, 191% after 60 days, 293% after 90 days and 391% after 120 days. Here is the latest news taken from the AtlantisMutual website:
"Spam alert
Please pay attention to the fact that AtlantisMutual is currently attacked by a group of spammers who are posting fake negative comments on company’s service and spread false information.
Investigation, held by AtlantisMutual team, uncovered a clear evidence that attack has been sponsored by a fraudulent website succeedtrade.com, which has stolen AtlantisMutual website design and content (we have already warned our clients about this issue before). It’s absolutely clear that succeedtrade.com’s aim is to bring AtlantisMutual reputation down and promote the fraudulent succeedtrade.com website.
Please do not trust any unverified and/or illegitimate information about AtlantisMutual service. Official news and updates are to be published in the news section of AtlantisMutual website only.
We have already notified all major monitoring services and investment forums about this issue and expect fake comments to be removed as soon as it possible on Christmas week.
If you have any doubt about legitimacy of a suspicious comment on AtlantisMutual service or you have any information about the spam attack, please contact us directly in order we could take appropriate measures. Thank you for loyalty and cooperation.
AtlantisMutual team
".

And before I go here is the list of the programs I monitor that paid me during the last 24 hours:
GoldNuggetInvest, ArbsFund, PanaMoney, FaithInvestment, NanoMoneyCorp, GeniusFunds, CedexInvest, InvestmentForge, CSMFinance, AsiaInv, MandarinInvest, RefMotor, OneDailyPro, Flanita, FinanceNova, Verifield, MoneyPlus, GlobalFund, WestFinance, RosalinFinance, Investorum, TradeZoom, InstantMoneyBets, PTVPartner, Vegamex, SurfVesper, XagaEnterprise, Caziroca, SantiVentures, DreamFunds (the first payment received) and ArbisPro (the first payment received).

That’s it for today, guys! Check out my blog tomorrow for another interview, review and of course the most up to date news from anywhere in the Industry!

21/12/2009. Interview with the admin of MoneyPlus

Posted: 21 Dec 2009 10:05 AM PST

Hi guys! In the first of two updates I’ll be posting today I have an interview with the curiously named T. Abrahami who is from MoneyPlus. That’s a long term HYIP offering plans like 0.6%-1.3% for 30 days, 1%-1.7% for 60 days, 1.3%-2% for 120 days, 1.7%-2.5% for 240 days, and returning your principal on expire. For further information you can always refer back to my original review here.

I thought I’d heard and seen it all in this industry. But you know every time I think that, something else comes along to surprise me. Enter Doctor William Stone. Apparently a lecturer in Information Technology at the world renowned Oxford University, it seems he has taken to running an online HYIP in his spare time. I know, I was a bit surprised as well!

Anyway, this is the information offered by the program admin. Use that information wisely.

"1. Hi, please introduce yourself to the readers of MNO and tell us a bit about your own involvement in MoneyPlus. Is this your first online venture? What other experience do you have in this Industry?

This is T. Abrahami one of the MoneyPlus support staff, but the company was founded by Dr. William Stone. The team consists of 50 specialists, citizens of 9 countries, graduates of the top universities and business schools who know how to invest money. Majority of the members of investment committee and personal financial consultants possess the most valuable certificates of the world of finance – CFA, ACCA, MBA, FCFR. Every manager has a solid personal career and deserves credit from their client and money market due to their professional knowledge and absolute honesty. This confidence is our capital and it is also a guarantee of our success. Nobody from our team will ever risk the investment assets and capital even if it would be quite profitable at first glance.

2. The first thing that struck me (and a lot of others) about your website was the text and design. It’s a direct copy/paste from another UK based car finance company, http://www.creditplus.co.uk Even the slogan and the mascot. Why? How long have you been aware of this? Is this ever going to be fixed?

Our designer group was KASPID, which is the same as Credit Plus, http://www.kaspid.com/web/case-studies/2/ but we did a buyout of this template.

3. Can you also give us some background history on MoneyPlus? Why did you decide to open your own program and what are you expecting to achieve by this? Are you alone or do you have a business partner or assistant?

Founded in 2005 in LAWSON HOUSE, UK., The MoneyPlus is a multimedia financial-services company dedicated to building the world’s greatest investment community. The Name of our company is MoneyPlus, but we are listed all over the place under the umbrella MoneyPlus Group Limited with Reg. No.07015259 Fund Inception Date of 05/08/2005.
Currently We have 2 branchs, London and California:

Money Plus Worldwide Financial Services Ltd.
Flat 44 Sarnersfield House, Pergrain Way, London, United Kingdom, SE15 1ND

“Money PlusFinancial”
8577 Haven Ave # 100 Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730-4850

Money Plus Group Ltd was located in Cheshire but has been removed to London and name was changed to Money Plus Worldwide Financial Services Ltd for changing mode to online services.

4. What are the plans you are offering investors? What are the minimum and maximum amounts to spend? What payment processors are you currently dealing with? Are payouts automatic or do I need to request them?

There are 4 investment plans; 30, 60, 120 and 240 days plan, with different percent profits in relation to amounts invested. Currently LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, AlertPay, BankWire, Webmoney, SolidTrustPay, StrictPay are accepted. Payments are processed instantly for verified accounts and manually after request for regular accounts.

Basic: 10 – 1,000 ; Fair: 1,001 – 5,000 ; Good: 5,000 – 25,000 ; Excellent: +25,001, that profits are between 0.6% daily up to 2.5% daily.

5. Are the rates of interest you offer realistic? How long do you think it can be sustained?

In today’s market with good and knowledgeable market research and analysis, it is best place to have over 30% or 40% return on your investment and now our profit in major market eg. NASDAQ, S&P , Forex, is more than profits in our investment plans, and our program will not be closed. Perhaps our plan going to change in future.

6. What about the security of the MoneyPlus website? Who is your hosting provider? Are you on a dedicated server and how protected are you from DDoS attacks? What script are you using?

Goldpoll provide DDoS protection with a guarantee and SSL certificate with dedicated server. Our script is unique but based in GoldCoders because GoldCoders script is one of the best and safest investment scripts.

7. What advertising strategy have you been using to promote MoneyPlus to date? How big a role have existing members played in this promotion? Are you satisfied with the level of growth so far?

At first we did advertise in monitors with listing and banners. Then we did started to promote our program in forums with banners, and in near future you will see our ads in all of major forums and monitors plus Yahoo, Google and amazon.com

8. What can you tell us about the success of the program overall so far? Are you pleased with the level of growth to date? Can you give us any statistics on the amount of members and the total amount deposited?

Our program has grow steadily by the day and you can see the evidence on http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/moneyplus.biz But I’m sorry I can’t disclose amount of members and the total amount deposited.

9. What kind of customer service and support do you offer to investors? What are the most effective ways of getting in contact with you if I have questions or problems? Do you have live chat support? How often is that available?

There is 24 hour live support and all email will be answered between 1-8 hours.

10. What can you tell us about your outside business and trading activities? We know that the story on your home page isn’t original so what are you really doing with members money? Are you completely dependent on new investors money to pay the older ones?

We are not a Ponzi or Ponzi MLM system. Many scam programs and Ponzi systems affray people from online investing, also we became a victim of them, but we did learn our lesson.

We are traders in Forex and other major markets, also our home page text is original, but some repetitious questions and terms in our site are like other investment programs.

11. I am also interested in your postal address. I don’t live too far away. What would I find there if I called during business hours? Is it a "virtual" managed office for collecting mail or would I find a real working business staffed by MoneyPlus employees?

Our postal addresses are
Money Plus Worldwide Financial Services Ltd.
Flat 44 Sarnersfield House, Pergrain Way, London, United Kingdom, SE15 1ND

“Money Plus Financial”
8577 Haven Ave # 100 Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730-4850

And they are a real working business staffed by MoneyPlus employees.

12. Many investors traditionally get extremely cautious around this time. Christmas often throws up a lot of scams from admins as well as a lot of Hit ‘n’ Runners from the investors. How do you intend to deal with both of those?

We think Christmas is a great opportunity for us to show the superiority of ourselves.

13. What are the future plans for MoneyPlus? How are you planning to help the program’s future growth and development into a major player in the online investment arena?

We have great advertising plans for the future and maybe our investment plans might see some changes in the new year.

14. And finally, one of several questionable comments on your "comments page" by William Stone included "Myself was born in British and teaching in Oxford University". That, and the statement that accompanies it, was very obviously not written by a native English speaker. And certainly not by a lecturer at Oxford University. So why is it there? Tell us what this man teaches in the University and how we may verify this.

Dr. Stone really is one of lecturer at Oxford, he was born in British and he lived and studied in India for 30 years and after this he backed at 50 to British to teaching IM and IT in Oxford."

Thanks a lot to the admin for making the effort there. Plenty of bizarre claims to keep you thinking there I think. Best of luck also to the students of Dr. Stone and to the future of the faculty at Oxford University. They’ll be needing it as I fear their thousand year tradition might be in doubt! Joining the 25 British Prime Ministers and the 47 Nobel Prize winners to have graced its hallowed halls we now have one HYIP admin.

It has come to my attention that the actual MoneyPlus Group mentioned by the admin in the earlier part of the interview are still very much in existence. Various allegations or wrongdoing have been leveled against MoneyPlus (the HYIP) in relation to this. If you have any concerns about what you are doing or how secure your deposit may be as a result of this you are free to contact the original MoneyPlus Group, who describe themselves as " a privately-owned group of financial services companies" here. Feel free to raise any concerns about this issue with them. It’s your money we are talking about here, not the admin’s. It’s your duty to satisfy yourself about any doubts about these activities. If there was no wrongdoing, then nobody needs to worry. Right?

Anyway, thats about it for the moment but don’t stray too far because I’ll be back later this evening with all the latest news stories from the industry as well as taking a closer look at one of the recent programs to be added to my monitoring list. So stay tuned everyone!

First Night Boston 2010 - 12/31

Posted: 20 Dec 2009 09:54 PM PST

I've been getting lots of New Years Eve celebration emails. Last year I went to Jillians/Tequila Rain with a bunch of friends. This year, I'm considering laying low instead, but then I got an email about First Night Boston which may be worth checking out.

First Night Boston is the country's oldest and largest New Year's arts celebration. On Dec. 31, 2009 from 1 p.m. to midnight, First Night presents a day-long festival of art, music, dance, ice sculpture, fireworks and more. First Night is an alcohol-free event that welcomes revelers of all ages to celebrate community and unity through the arts. First Night 2010 will feature over 1000 artists in 200 exhibitions and performances in over 35 locations in Boston.

First Night is proud to present an amazing group of performers and visual artists who truly represent the richness of Boston's cultural landscape. Our celebration features longtime audience favorites like the interactive FedEx Family Festival, colossal ice sculptures, the Mardi Gras style Metro Grand Procession, the Boston 4 Productions Family Fireworks and the Frank Ward and Cape Dairy Midnight Fireworks, along with new and exciting performances and exhibitions. To enjoy the festivities you just need to purchase a button which are $18.

Fireworks, a procession, live music, ice sculptures, and a whole lot more. The only part that scares me a little is that it's looking like it's mostly going to take place outside. And me and the cold don't get a long very well.

Bombay Club Moves to the South End - 12/23

Posted: 20 Dec 2009 09:40 PM PST

I very rarely eat in Harvard Square anymore, I did more often when I was in Central Square, but not it's just a little too far away. That being said, I never did eat at Bombay Club even then. Every time I was in that building, we ate at Penang. According to a few different articles I've seen around, the Bombay Club is moving to the South End.

The Bombay Club, Harvard Square's favorite institution of Indian food, is boldly making the transition from Cambridge to the South End.

Setting up in the former Pho Republique spot, think of the new BC as a more svelte version of the old restaurant. The menu has been streamlined from nine pages to two (less is more), and it'll feature the best dishes from the previous place, plus a biweekly Club Special highlighting a specialty from one of India's many regions. (Think pan-fried potato patties with lentils, yogurt and chutney, and chicken wings cooked in scallions and red chile sauce.)

Well, what a coincidence, I never ate at Pho Republique either. I typically got my pho fix in Chinatown and typically don't eat much Indian food at all. But I do like to hang out in the South End, so perhaps I'll finally make my way over to the new Bombay Club after it opens on 12/23.
